The issu= e with The VAT man was a major headache for me and has cost us a significan= t amount of money in terms of interest paid and bank charges. I accept that= there was a reduction in the charges that were applied to rectfy the probl= em however this all came about because we were not given the correct advice= regarding the VAT in the first place. This also raises a question over whe= ther we are getting the best tax advice in general. I accept that we should= have to pay the vat back as we have a legal responsibility to do so, this = has now been completed.
